Takako
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Takako spent her early years in London, where she began building her foundation in dance.
From a young age, she developed a deep passion for movement and explored a wide range of styles, including ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, K-pop, Irish dance, and Japanese traditional dance.
She has performed on stages such as London’s West End and the National Theatre of Japan in Tokyo.
While pursuing a professional career in advertising in Tokyo, she continued dancing actively, participating in performances and projects alongside her work.
Takako believes in dance as a form of expression that brings clarity, confidence, and connection.
Now based in the NY/NJ area, she offers personalized dance lessons in both English and Japanese, as well as online sessions, tailored to each student’s goals and pace.
日本・東京生まれ。5歳からクラシックバレエとはじめ、幼少期をイギリス・ロンドンで過ごす。
クラシックバレエをはじめ、タップダンス、ジャズダンス、アイリッシュダンス、ヒップホップ、日本舞踊など、幅広いジャンルを経験。
ロンドン在住時にはオーディションを経てウエストエンドの舞台に立ち、日本では国立劇場での公演にも出演。
大学卒業後は広告代理店でのキャリアを歩みながらも、踊ることをやめることなく、舞台やコンテスト、指導などを通じてダンスと向き合い続けてきました。
ダンスは、上達のためだけでなく、自分を整え、前向きにするための大切な手段だと考えています。
現在はNY/NJを拠点に、日本語・英語での対面およびオンラインレッスンを提供しています。
